About Me

I'm Nicholas Joan! I'm a passionate artist and writer located in Western Sydney. I'm currently studying as a film student where I focus on storyboarding for live action film and television.I've worked as the lead storyboard artist on three short films thus far, with two more planned for this year. I've also worked on some of these projects as the DOP and camera operator. The next project I will be storyboarding is my short film "My Ghost, Finlee", written, directed and storyboarded by myself.My goal is to become a professional storyboard artist in either live action television or animation. I have had a passion for animation and art for many years and am working hard to make my dreams a reality!My hobbies involve my art and writing - I love to sell my art at markets and artist alleys! I have independently published one novel so far, with another on the way, which I aim to publish traditionally.
